With power your guild can reach higher guild levels, allowing all members to get various perks and boosts. There are 3 different ways to produce power:
Special buildings
Some special buildings can produce power. How much they produce depends on their era - the higher the era, the more power can be produced. One good example for a power-producing building is the Hall of Fame. This and other special buildings can be earned within a lot of Events.
The collected power is not immediately added to the guild, this happens only once a day when the daily recalculation takes place.
Guild Expeditions
Apart from rewarding buildings, items and resouces, in the Guild Expeditions power can be earned for the guild. How much power per crown can be earned depends on the amount and era* of the members in the guild.
To get the total power a guild earns per crown the values from the table have to be summed up and divided by 15.

Example: a guild with five members, two of them in the era "Virtual Future", the others in the era "Oceanic Future":
((2 x 2000) + (3 x 1750)) / 15 = 1'850 power per crown.
The Power received from new earned crowns will be added within the daily recalculation. Possible power-bonuses due to a ranking in the guild-championship are added on Mondays recalculations.

Guild vs Guild
With Guild vs Guild (GvG) power can be earned trough conquering sectors. The most power can be earned with sectors from higher eras having a lot of afforestation on it. However, a guild only receives the power while holding sectors until the daily recalculation.
The power earned trough sectors from GvG will furthermore be added as prestige to the Guild rankings with the ratio 1:1.
